A state of Calamity was declared for Luzon Monday evening. The mayor of Santa Rosa said the flooding was a lot like the flooding saw in 2009 with Ondoy. At least 500 families have had to be evacuated at this time and more are expected to move as the water rises. Schools across Manila and surrounding provinces had all schools closed this morning as rain warnings were raised to Red the highest warning possible for this area.
