The now upgraded by JTWC Typhoon Son-Tinh, still STS by JMA is approaching Vietnam. This storm has already been the cause of 24 deaths and 9 missing in the Philippines and now its setting its eyes west on southern China and Northern Vietnam including the capital of Hanoi. Heavy rains will cause flooding in these regions and even the risk of mudslides along the northern mountains of Vietnam.
