Severe Tropical Storm Gaemi is kicking up the seas in the South China sea but also pumping heavy rainfall in to the philippines where it has caused some traffic problems in and around Manila. Also schools have been closed in the area due to the rains. Going through the end of the week the storm should start to turn west heading towards Vietnam where it will make a landfall over the weekend likely bringing some flooding rains to that area.

Tokyo is getting wet weather today too to to Tropical Storm Maliksi just off the coast of Honshu, this storm should not make landfall yet it will kick up seas making sea travelers a little sea sick as it rushes off to the Northern Pacific.
Also we are still watching an area near Guam for likely development going through the weekend. This storm still needs to initialize so the track is vague. Yet we will continue to keep you posted as it develops.
