Typhoon Jelawat still packing typhoon strenght winds is now making a landfall just east of Osaka this Sunday afternoon. Rain totals are already adding up to nearly 50mm an hour as the storms strong rain bands continue to push on shore. Through the evening hours expect the storm to push through the Kanto region bringing gust winds and heavy rains. Good news is by sunday morning the conditions should clear rapidly across Tokyo just in time for the morning commute.
