Typhoon Jelawat Storm Footage and Forecast / 29-30 September

Typhoon Jelawat has been blamed for at least 50 injuries in Okinawa alone, thankfully no deaths have occurred and given the intensity of this storm and its over 200kph winds damage has remained relatively low. On that note there has been many reports of over turned cars and down trees due to the strong on slaughter of Typhoon Jelawat.

The equivalent of Category 4 strength gust were also recorded as the storm approached the Okinawa islands showing the brute force of the storm. But also displaying the incredible infrastructure of Okinawa and its ability to stand up to these storms.

Now the storm is racing North East over the Amani islands and then on to Honshu where it should make a landfall Sunday Evening through the over night hours near Nagoya.
