Now Super Typhoon Jelawat is pushing north at a snails pace to the east of the Philippines. This is cuasing significantly high amounts of rain to fall in the island and already there has been two reports of deaths and one person missing due to lightning, floods and fallen trees. This goes to show the intensity of this storm despite the fact it is still well off shore and to the east of the philippines.

In this update we look at this storm and where it is expected to go next. At this time the possibility of it hitting Taiwan or southern Japan can not be ruled out. Yet due to the storms slow nature it also can not be pinpointed at this time.
