Typhoon Jelawat has rapidly intensified in to dangerous and violent typhoon with winds up to 100kt and gust much higher. Pressure also continues to drop rapidly in the eye of this storm. Reports of flooding are also coming out of the philippines and one report of a landslide, good news at this time no news of any deaths related to weather has been reported. In this update we look at the effects of the storm so far and where it could possibly be going next. Plus we look at another area near Guam that looks ripe for development in the next several days.
