Sanba has now weakened to a Severe Tropical Storm after making landfall along southern part of South Korea as a Category 1 Typhoon earlier this morning. The system continues to move across the Peninsula but will be exiting into the Sea of Japan in the next few hours. Sanba is now undergoing extra-tropical transition and will continue weakening as it moves to the northeast. It is forecast to make its third and final landfall along the North Korean/Russian Border and will be moving very near Vladivostok tomorrow morning (Tuesday) as a weak Tropical Strom/Tropical Depression.
