Heavy rainfall has been impacting South East Asia this week due to the developing and typhoon Sanba to the East of the Philippines, this area is now charging north and should remain well East of the Phillippine country, yet enhanced monsoonal flow coming in from the west will bring heavy rain showers and the risk of severe flooding and landslides across the country through the remainder of the week.
By the weekend the threat area will switch from the Philippines to the southern Japanese Islands as Sanba or “Karen” approaches from the south. At this time a strong typhoon very well could be likely, its always best to take measures early to safe guard against strong storms.
