Tropical Storm Sanba threatens the Philippines & 11 September Update

Tropical Storm Sanba is rushing North ushered by the monsoonal trough. This storm system is going to have a strong influence in the Philippine islands due to its moisture inflow out of the south china sea, this enhancment of the south west monsoon will bring heavy rains and the risk of flooding conditions expecially in low lying areas urban regions with poor drainage.

Meanwhile across Japan thunderstorm activity is beeing seen today. This is not the only westerly storm. Central china has been hit hard by strong rain showers and thunderstorms for the past several days. These showers are expected to continue to persist due to a potent low pressure area running across central China.
