Bolaven is not racing north as an extra-tropical system across North East China in to Russia. Yet this storm did leave a wide swath of destruction behind it from Okinawa to South Korea where it killed 8 people and over 10 are still missing. Now South Korea get a little break from the action but Tembin the once powerful super typhoon is bearing down on the region threatening more gusty winds and another shot of heavy rain showers. Also in todays video update we look at the tropics from Indo-china to the Philippines where flooding has been reported in the past several days due to extreme monsoonal flow across the region. This takes us back to one year ago when Thailand was devastated by severe floods in the region. Goes go show you dont need an organized system for severe flooding.
