JMA -Tropical Depression “96W/UNNAMED” maintained its intensity while heading further S off the East Philippine Sea, and was spotted near 18.7N-126.1E, 314 nm (582 km) NE of Baler, Aurora, Philippines, moving dangerously closer to the Northeasterrn Luzon coast for the last 6 hrs with a wobble to WSW and SSE’wards. The system is expected to strengthen within the next 12-24 hrs while at the moment maintaining a S’ward slowly (quasi-stationary), winds topped 55 km/hr (min), gusts up to 83 km/hr (max), 1008 hPa and falling. #weatherguyadonis @weatherguyadonz

JMA -Newly developed Tropical Depression “96W/UNNAMED” was spotted near 19.0N-126.0E, 320 nm (593 km) NE of Baler, Aurora, Philippines, moving dangerously parallel to the Northern Luzon coast for the last 6 hrs with a wobble to WSW and SSE’wards. The system is expected to strengthen within the next 12-24 hrs while at the moment maintaining a S’ward track@10 km/hr (quasi-stationary), winds topped 55 km/hr (min), gusts up to 83 km/hr (max), 1008 hPa and falling. #weatherguyadonis @weatherguyadonz

Westernpacificweather - The area of convection spotted just Southeast of Taiwan has been slowly developing for the last 24 hrs now, and was tagged as a weak Tropical Depression by JMA, dipping Southwards heading for Northern Luzon and has a potential to become a full-fledged Tropical Storm later today or within the next 12-24 hrs. The JTWC has yet to tag the system but will await for their announcement later today. Meantime, please stay tuned for more Wx action from WestPac and across the Planet from our most diligent and dedicated Wx casters here and abroad.
