Typhoon Haikui produced 120kph plus wind gust as it strolled over okinawa this weekend. Little damage has been recorded yet it definatly put a damper on many peoples outdoor plans. Now the storm is intensifying in the warm waters of the east china sea where it will continue to gain strenght before slamming in to the Zhejiang province nearly Wenling and Ningbo by mid-week. After moving on shore the storm will likely stall out further cuasing heavy rainfall across the region. Meanwhile in Taiwan more rainfall is occuring adding the to the staggering totals Saola accounted for last week. And then in the Philippines over a week of constant rainfall and flooding has been impacting Manila creating a mess of things as monsoonal flow continues to damages homes snarl traffic and impact lives.
