Video Update for the newest cyclone in the Western Pacific: Tropical Storm Haikui. The system is located west of Iwo To (Japan) and is forecast to move west northwestward, eventually approaching Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands as a strong Typhoon early next week. We also take a final look at Saola (Formerly Bagyong Gener) and Damrey; both systems made landfall in China yesterday and are now rapidly weakening, but still bringing widespread rains in some locations.
If you have any reports on the effects of Saola and Damrey (with the former killing more than 40 people in the Philippines and Taiwan), feel free to share it with us by commenting below, or on our YouTube Page. You could also send in your images or videos, or comments and questions, to [email protected] and at [email protected]
