Typhoon Saola ( Gener ) becomes deadly / Damrey Video Update

Typhoon Saola intensified rapidly today as conditions became ripe for the storm to gain intensity. At this time as it rolls North it very well could likely make it to a Cat 2 or 3 storm equivalent before impacting Taiwan, Southern Japan and Eastern China.

Already the storm is being blamed for four deaths in the Philippines and have caused a slew of problems from power outages to closed roads and bridges. For a complete update on the storms effects please click the link below.

Meanwhile we continue to watch Damrey moving towards southern Japan as well. This storm remains dis-organized yet improving conditions may result in its increasing of intensity. Yet at this time it seems that more factors are playing in to the weakening of tho storm than its intensification.
