Tropical Storm Vicente is currently running WNW along the souther periphery of a high pressure cell over south east china. Already the storm has claimed several lives in the Philippines and more are still missing including a six year old who was swept away in a river outside of Manila. Rain bands keep moving on shore across Luzon and Visayas as well due to the enhancment of the south west monsoon and the inflow in to Vicente. As the storm moves slowly in to China heavy rainfall is forecasted as the storm system moves slowly across Hainan and in to the Gulf of Tonkin.
Also in todays update we look at a frontal area across Central China and in Japan a refreshing break from the heat across most of the country.
