Devasting Floods in Japan, 11 July 2012 Video Update

Devastating floods have ravaged Japan today as residents woke up to raging waters outside there house in some parts of Kyushu on Thursday. A few areas recieved up to 5cm of rainfall over a 3-4 hour period while gusty winds also hit the coastline up to 117kph. This has resulted sadly in over 10 deaths while 15 are still missing. We will continue to keep you updated as this develops. If any of our viewers has videos or pictures from the region please do share.

Farther South in the tropics a new Invest area has spun up, at this time this does not look to develop in to any significant but it still bears watching.
